Video 1) Full File Review

In this video I review the Bookkeeping Template with Demo Data as if I was a "Bookkeeper" or "CPA" taking a look at a Bookkeeping Template file shared by a new client.

    1. Review Nav1

    2. Review Notes W/S

    3. Chart of Accounts W/S

    4. Review Statements W/S

    5. Review RawTxns w/s and corresponding journals

    6. Check for Expenses Paid Via and General Journal entries

    7. Review Income Statement

    8. Review Balance Sheet

POST PUBLSHING NOTES for VIDEO 1:

  1. The recipient of a shared file will not be able to trigger the NAV1 "refresh" function unless the owner also shares their DIY1 file. :Also it would require authorization then and if the CPA/Bookkeeping is not familiar with that it may feel uncomfortable, so the user should be sure the NAV1 is refreshed before sharing if any changes were made to worksheet name or worksheet order since the prior refresh.

Video 1a) This is a longer version of the video above.

I liked the one above but after doing it, I realized some important things I hadn't covered that you might like to know sooner rather than later. I also realized the order of columns in the Chart of Accounts for this version was not the latest and the latest was worth re-covering in more detail. There was more credibility tools in the Chart of Accounts than I covered in the shorter video.

I'd highly suggest watching both. If you watch both you will have a fantastic understanding of our Bookkeeping Template with great reinforcement with this longer version.

POST PUBLSHING NOTES:

  1. See POST PUIBLISHING notes about NAV1 refresh with the first video.

  2. There was no problem with the Payee report at the end of the video. Look at the date range selected. It was only selected for 12/1-12/31 not the full year....
